Lab Technician - Job description
This is a part-time Position 20 hours per week.
This would suit a person who can work precisely and accurately and wishes to start a Lab career within the company.
Tasks involved within the role of Lab Technician are identified below but it is not exhaustive. You will be Lab based and may be required to assist or carry out other tasks within other areas of the company.
You will liaise with other internal departments as required e.g. Quality. Inspection, Sales, and Production on a daily basis to perform the tasks required.
On the job Training shall be given to the successful candidate.
Responsibilities
- Carry out testing on rubber parts and report results to quality department.
- Verify and record dimensional measurements for components for customers.
- Collate and check documentation for the issue of Certificates of Conformity.
Requirements
- Previous experience with the completion of MS Word & MS Excel spreadsheets and documentation control.
- Experience in a Lab position would be a plus but not essential.

You'll need to have:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- The ability to work unsupervised or alongside other team members.
- A methodical approach to work.
- Experience using MS Word and Excel.
- A willingness to learn.
Hours Of Work:
08.30 – 12.30 Monday to Friday.
