Grays Locksmiths – a trusted name in Nottingham since 1987 – is expanding! We're looking for a skilled and reliable Locksmith to join our friendly, professional team.
About the Role:
As a locksmith with Grays, you’ll be the face of our company—responding to domestic and commercial call-outs, installing and repairing locks, gaining entry, and providing exceptional customer service. You'll also assist in our workshop and retail store when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend emergency and scheduled locksmith jobs across Nottinghamshire
- Gain non-destructive and destructive entry to properties
- Fit, repair, and upgrade all types of locks and security hardware
- Provide expert advice and security recommendations to customers
- Keep accurate job records and handle payments/invoices where required
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a locksmith (minimum 2 years preferred)
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
Desirable:
- Experience with safes, access control systems, or auto locksmithing
- MLA certification or willingness to work towards it
