Lockheed Martin Strategic Systems is looking for a Navy Stores Inventory Controller to complement the team based at HMNB Clyde, Faslane. This role benefits from our 9/75 working pattern giving you every other Friday off. This role would suit an experience Stores / Inventory Controller with experience in Naval, Defence or similar highly regulated environment.
Key responsibilities
- Demand all departmental stores either through Naval Store Office (MJDI), Logistics Section
- Demand, stow and return all hazardous items within the building
- Haz Mat Temperature checks for shelf life materials
- Working alongside industry partners and manage stores demands
- Track & Trace items required by Departments, either incoming from US or other sources, using CLASP / WITS / Logiquest / MJDI
- Management of stores paperwork
- Return equipment to Return Store or US using relevant paperwork
- Monthly stocktake activities against Hazardous goods holdings
- Maintain the Hazardous Goods database
- Work alongside ESH and support the COSHH process
- Liaise with facilities for the removal of waste metal skips
- Operate all MHE required for the role, FLT's, MEWP's
- Manage the lifting quarantine area.
