Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and dependable Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing materials handling, operating forklifts safely, and supporting warehouse operations to ensure smooth flow of goods. Duties
- Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing of goods
- Use warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and update records accurately
- Perform routine equipment repairs or notify maintenance for any forklift or machinery issues
- Handle materials with care, ensuring proper stacking, storage, and handling procedures are followed
- Conduct regular safety checks on equipment and the warehouse environment to prevent accidents
- Support inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels
Requirements
- Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in materials handling
- Valid forklift certification and experience operating various types of forklifts
- Mechanical knowledge or basic understanding of equipment repair is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to use warehouse management systems effectively
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and data entry tasks
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
