Stock Processing Manager
Location: St George’s, Wolverhampton, WV2 1BA
Hours: 37.50 (Sunday to Saturday 5 days out of 7)
Salary: £25,353

Compton Care provides high quality, accessible care and support for the people in our communities living with life limiting conditions across Wolverhampton, the Black Country, South Staffordshire and East Shropshire.
The charity’s annual running costs are £16 million, 70% of this running cost is funded through our stores, fundraising, and donations from our amazing supporters.
About the Role:
We are currently looking for a Stock Processing Manager for our Central Warehouse in Wolverhampton. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to manage the end-to-end processing of stock through the effective leadership of the team. Managing a team of stock processors which include volunteers to process stock at pace in line with company standards.
Key Responsibilities:

To Maintain accurate daily records of all Stock movements in and out of the warehouse and keep adequate records of stock being processed on a daily basis.

To Lead a team processing stock to get the best value for the charity communicating and driving targets ensuring all team members are trained and updated regularly.

To maintain the Warehouse operations area to a good standard, ensuring that equipment and fittings are in good working order

To support all income generation activity across the retail estate by ensuring adequate stock rotation and flow of fresh stock onto the sales floor to maximise income according to Trading Company policies and procedures.
What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience managing people in a stock processing/warehouse environment

A proven ability to work within a team and have effective working

Experienced at working in a fast-paced target driven environment

Demonstrates on understanding of effective team leadership

Experience of warehouse / large store stock room management and stock Control.

Ability to work on own initiative
