We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for guest services and a strong understanding of food safety and preparation. As a Server, you will play a vital role in ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests by providing attentive service, assisting with menu selections, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
- Take food and drink orders accurately, utilising basic maths skills to ensure correct billing.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while adhering to food safety standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and address any guest needs or concerns promptly.
- Manage time effectively to handle multiple tables efficiently while providing excellent guest services.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety regulations is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members alike.
- A proactive approach to upselling menu items and enhancing the overall guest experience.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining a friendly demeanour.
