We are urgently looking for an enthusiastic, reliable Workshop Operative to join our small team of furniture makers and craftspeople.
This role is a great opportunity to begin a career with a family business that offers fantastic career development. Full training is provided.
Duties:
- Final finishing, sanding and preparing items for dispatch
- Moving furniture orders based on daily targets
- Packaging of furniture and other products
- Maintenance of equipment and workshop cleanliness
- Loading and unloading deliveries
Key Requirements:
- Good attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Comfortable with manual handling of large furniture items and working in a fast-paced environment
- Able to follow instructions and production schedules
- Experience with basic woodworking tools would be a bonus but not essential
