Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Part 2 Scaffolder with a valid HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicle) Licence to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
- Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures safely and efficiently according to project specifications and safety standards
- Operate HGV vehicles to transport scaffolding materials and equipment between sites
- Conduct thorough inspections of scaffolding for stability, safety, and compliance throughout each project phase
- Collaborate with site managers, contractors, and team members to coordinate logistics and ensure timely delivery of materials
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques to assemble scaffolding components accurately
- Assist with other construction tasks such as carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, electrical work, or painting as needed
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, safety checks, and materials used to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements
- Valid Part 2 Scaffolder certification with proven experience in scaffolding installation and dismantling
- Valid HGV Licence with clean driving record for transporting materials between sites
- Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and protocols
- Experience with carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work, or fabrication is highly desirable
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools essential for scaffolding assembly and other construction tasks
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret project plans accurately
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
