Main job purpose:
To support the Property team by making sure administrative processes are carried out efficiently and correctly.
To make sure all actions and documentation issued comply with FCA regulations and within agreed service standards in line with policy terms and conditions.
Responsibility and accountability:
- Maintain and enhance existing/new client relationships within agreed service standards, tasks include but are not limited to:
- Processing renewals, revised renewals, lapses (including issuing receipts) and mid-term adjustments
- Scanning and printing post
- Processing and maintaining client/departmental emails (mailboxes)
- Prepare written responses to routine enquiries
- Maintaining diary systems by written and oral communications
- Servicing calls when needed
- Processing new business for various departments when needed
- Accurate data entry on insurer bordereaux and pipelines when needed
- Credit control support
- Accurately input data onto client records ensuring completion within the agreed service standards
- Make sure all documentation issued and actions taken fall within the agreed service standards and FCA regulations
- Actively develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, insurer partners, affiliates and other third parties
- Answer, fix and/or transfer inbound phone calls when needed
- Organise and prioritise work
- Keep your technical knowledge up to date

Experience, knowledge and skills needed:
- Experience of working in a customer services environment
- Experience in the property sector especially the private rented sector, will be useful but not essential, as will a basic understanding of the insurance or financial services industry
- Excellent level of written and spoken English with sound maths skills
- Excellent inter-personal and telephone skills and able to communicate clearly and precisely with others
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy ensuring that high standards of quality are consistently maintained
- Able to plan, organise and meet deadlines, keep promises and prioritise own workload
- Drive and self-determination with the ability to identify problems and implement solutions
- Abe to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability
- Able to work within a team environment and co-operate with team members, building effective working relationships
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and the ability to learn new systems and processes as needed
