Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components, ensuring precision and quality in all work. Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding and other welding techniques on various materials, including sheet metal
- Fabricate components according to technical drawings and specifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively
- Measure and mark materials accurately using basic math skills
- Assemble fabricated parts into finished products or sub-assemblies
- Maintain high standards of quality control throughout the fabrication process
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with safety regulations
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues related to fabrication equipment as needed
Experience
- Proven experience in TIG welding and general fabrication work
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Strong understanding of sheet metal work and assembly processes
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for fabrication tasks
- Experience working with various materials including metals used in fabrication projects
Working hours
Monday - Friday 7.30-16.30
With the possibility of overtime
