Highwood Day Nursery is an outstanding small private day nursery in Stapenhill. We are a family run, professional nursery whose goal is to provide a fun, safe environment where all children can thrive, develop and enjoy nursery life.
We are seeking a qualified and passionate Early Years Educator who has a strong background in Early Childhood Education and a nurturing approach to support children's development and be committed to providing high-quality care and education for young children.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote learning and development
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to explore and grow
- Develop individual learning plans based on children's interests and needs
- Monitor and assess children's progress to ensure developmental milestones are met
- Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and external professionals
- Manage daily routines and provide personal care when necessary
Required Skills:
- 2 years experience of working in childcare or nursery settings.
- 2 years experience of working in a baby/toddler room.
- Be able to guide and inspire children
- Drive to create a positive learning environment for young learners
- Proficient in English language for effective communication
- Appropriate qualification in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Ability to manage challenging behaviours with patience and empathy
Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
