Are you organised, detail-focused and interested in working in a busy and varied finance role? We are looking for an enthusiastic Finance Support Officer to join the Environment, Roads and Facilities department.
You will play an important part in supporting the department by processing creditor invoices, raising official orders, raising debtor invoices in accordance with the late payments directive and Conwy’s Financial Regulations, and helping to ensure that financial records are accurate and up to date.
Principal duties will include:
- Generating official orders
- Raising debtor invoices
- Assisting with year-end procedures
- Collecting and collating data for analysis and performance monitoring
- Reconciling grant expenditure and retaining records for grant claims
This role would suit someone with a good standard of education, strong IT skills, good numeracy skills and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely. If you enjoy working accurately, resolving queries and contributing to important services for Conwy’s communities, we would welcome your application.
