Garden House are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team.
This role involves providing high-quality support to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be reliable, and have a genuine desire to make a positive difference in people's lives. Experience in care environments is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided. The position offers an opportunity to develop your skills within a supportive and professional setting.

Duties
- Assisting clients with daily activities such as personal care, dressing, and mobility
- Supporting individuals with their care plans tailored to their specific needs
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
- Maintaining accurate records of care
- Assisting with light domestic tasks including cleaning and meal preparation if required
- Communicating effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure consistent care delivery
Experience
- Previous experience working within a care home or home care environment is advantageous but not mandatory; full training will be provided for those new to the sector
- Good literacy skills for maintaining accurate documentation and following care plans
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and excellent interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of care plans and basic health & safety procedures is beneficial but can be learned on the job
