Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Conveyancing Assistant to join our legal team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support property transactions and assist with administrative tasks within a professional legal environment. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring smooth conveyancing processes, maintaining client relationships, and supporting solicitors with their daily duties. MUST have worked for a Top 5 bulk convetncing law firm in conveyancing or legal administration is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. This position is paid and suitable for individuals looking to develop their career within property law.
Dutie
- Manage and update case files accurately using Leap
- Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, to facilitate communication and progress update
- Support solicitors in conducting searches, obtaining certificates, and handling correspondence
- Maintain organised records of all case-related documents and correspondence in compliance with data protection regulations
- Monitor progress of property transactions to ensure adherence to deadlines and legal requirements
- Provide general administrative support to the conveyancing team as needed
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) with excellent organisational skills
- Good IT skills with the ability to learn new software quickly
- Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Must have worked for a Top 5 bulk conveyancing law firm; experience in legal or conveyancing administration .
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: £24,785.00-£26,500.00 per year
