Luxury Residential Development Security Officer

Salary: £14 - £16 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time (shift pattern of 4 on 4 off)

We are recruiting experienced Security Officers to join the security team at a prestigious luxury residential development. This role demands the highest levels of professionalism, discretion, vigilance, and customer service.
Please note: Previous service as Gurkha personnel and/or within the Armed Forces is a mandatory requirement for this position. Applications from candidates without this experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a professional and reassuring security presence throughout the development.
- Control access and verify all visitors, contractors, and deliveries.
- Conduct regular patrols of residential and communal areas.
- Monitor CCTV, alarms, and other security systems.
- Respond swiftly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, and resident concerns.
- Produce clear and accurate reports and maintain security records.
- Liaise with residents, management, contractors, and emergency services in a professional manner.
- Uphold the exceptional standards expected within a luxury residential environment.
Essential Requirements
- Mandatory: Former Gurkha personnel and/or ex-military service experience.
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor or SIA Close Protection Licence
- Proven ability to operate with discipline, integrity, and sound judgement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Smart appearance and impeccable professional standards.
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Desirable
- Previous experience in luxury residential, corporate, diplomatic, or high-profile security environments.
- CCTV qualification.
- First Aid at Work certification.
- Additional security or close protection training.
