Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant / Support Worker to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assisting clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Supporting individuals with their care plans to ensure tailored and effective care delivery
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment
- Assisting with medication administration as per care plans and training
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided and any changes in client conditions
- Supporting clients with meal preparation and feeding when necessary
- Ensuring the safety and comfort of clients at all times, adhering to health and safety guidelines
- Communicating effectively with team members, clients, and their families to ensure seamless care delivery
- Driving clients to appointments or activities when required, maintaining a clean driving record
Experience
- Previous experience working within a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
- Knowledge of care plans and procedures related to personal care and health support
- Good IT skills for maintaining accurate documentation and communication records
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients, families, and colleagues
- Valid driving licence is advantageous for supporting clients outside the care setting
- Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and excellent interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with clients

Pay: £29,420.00-£34,761.48 per year
