Boxford Farms Ltd is looking for a motivated and reliable Orchard Construction Assistant to join our Orchard Development Team. Working alongside our Orchard Construction Manager, you'll play a key role in creating, maintaining, and improving our orchards, helping to deliver exciting projects that support the future of our business.
No two days are the same, and this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills while working in the beautiful countryside.
What You'll Be Doing
As part of our Orchard Construction team, you'll be involved in:
- Building, maintaining, and repairing orchard infrastructure
- Assisting with new orchard development and construction projects
- Helping monitor project progress and quality
- Keeping accurate records and supporting project reporting
- Working safely and efficiently as part of a close-knit team
- Supporting and encouraging colleagues through training and teamwork
- Contributing ideas to improve the way we work
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, enthusiastic, and eager to learn
- Practical, hands-on, and enjoys working outdoors in all seasons
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude
- A good communicator with a polite and professional manner
Essential Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence (Category B)
- Right to work in the UK
- Competent written and spoken English
Desirable
- Experience in construction, maintenance, landscaping, agriculture, or a similar practical role
