About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, professional and customer-focused Area Manager to support our growing portfolio of commercial cleaning contracts across North and North West London.
This role is ideal for someone with previous commercial cleaning management experience who is looking for flexible work that can fit around other commitments. You will be responsible for carrying out quality audits, supporting site teams, maintaining excellent client relationships and ensuring our high cleaning standards are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled quality audits across commercial cleaning contracts.
- Produce clear and accurate audit reports using a mobile phone or tablet.
- Complete follow-up visits where required.
- Support, coach and motivate cleaning operatives.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain excellent relationships with clients and respond professionally to any concerns.
- Ensure company standards, Health & Safety procedures and client expectations are consistently met.
- Represent the company professionally at all times.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience managing commercial cleaning contracts.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Professional, organised and able to work independently.
- Confident managing people and resolving issues.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Access to your own reliable vehicle.
- Willing to travel up to 20 miles from your home address.
Desirable
- Experience carrying out quality inspections or audits.
- Knowledge of COSHH and Health & Safety requirements.
- Experience managing multiple commercial cleaning sites.
Pay & Benefits
- £55–£100 per completed audit (depending on the size and complexity of the contract).
- £20 per authorised re-visit.
- Mileage or fuel expenses paid where business travel is required.

Workload
Current workload is approximately 5–15 audits per month, with opportunities to increase as the area expands.
There is no maximum number of contracts you can manage. Additional sites will be allocated based on your availability, performance and location.
Most audits are completed with flexibility to arrange visits around operational requirements.
