Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high standards of cleanliness. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, supporting the overall well-being and safety of our clients’ facilities. Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces across multiple commercial sites.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards.
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet roll as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistency and quality of service.
- Ensure all areas are kept organised, tidy, and hygienic at all times.
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
