Job Summary
We are a newly opened practice, expanding on our welcoming and successful existing 3 surgery clinic. We are opening an additional 4 clinical rooms in Guildford and looking to expand the team.
We are seeking a dedicated evening and weekend dental associate to join our reputable dental practice.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care, assisting with patient diagnosis and treatment planning, and supporting the overall smooth operation of the clinic. We have recently refurbished the surgery and are completely digital. We have a hardworking and welcoming existing team.
We offer emergency dental services 7 days per week, as well as general dentistry such as implants and oral surgery. We are open weekends and offer late nights, the clinician will need to cover these shifts, this is an essential requirement.
Candidates who cannot cover late shifts, 5pm till 10pm and weekend cover between 8.30am and 10pm, will not be considered.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments of patients’ oral health.
- Diagnose dental conditions using clinical evaluation and medical imaging techniques.
- Develop and implement personalised treatment plans in collaboration with patients.
- Assist with dental procedures, including restorations, extractions, and root canals.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe environment for staff and patients.
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in dentistry, particularly in anatomy knowledge and medical imaging technologies.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, particularly oral and maxillofacial structures.
- Experience with medical imaging techniques such as X-rays, CBCT scans, or other diagnostic tools.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Organised with attention to detail to ensure precise record keeping and treatment execution.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
