The Role: Reporting to the Logistics & Customer Service Manager, you will strengthen the day-to-day performance by ensuring drivers are briefed, debriefed and supported with accuracy and professionalism. Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct start of shift briefings with drivers, covering route details, customer expectations, timings and safety requirements.
- Conduct end of shift debriefs with drivers, capturing feedback, reviewing incidents and confirm completion of scheduled routes.
- Ensure the accuracy of electronic proof of deliveries together with completion of all associated transport documentation within required timeframes.
- Log non conformances and ensure correct follow up within the internal reporting processes.
- Liaise with transport regarding progress of deliveries and drivers.
You will be required to have:-
- Previous experience in transport administration, ideally within logistics, supply chain or customer service.
- Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines within a transport environment.
- Confident communication skills both written and verbal.
- Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Office and database systems.
- The capacity to work as part of a highly efficient team.
Working Monday to Friday working from 09:00 – 18:00
