Muffin Break Café is looking for one FULL-TIME / PERMANENT Café assistant. Full availability required throughout the year. No student term time only applicants please.
20-30 hrs a week including Weekends
If you enjoy working in a team and have great customer service skills then this job is for you! If you are committed to working in a busy fast paced social Café. The successful candidates must be enthusiastic towards serving the general public, reliable, hard working and a good time keeper. Must be available at weekends and all holiday term times including Christmas. (we close only for 3 days 25th & 1st Jan, Easter Sunday)Your duties will include plenty of interaction with customers & clearing tables, sweep & mop floors, loading & unloading dishwasher. Some Heavy lifting.
Our display cabinets must also be kept well stocked and beautifully presented. Barista training will be given at a later date. You must be able to think on own initiative and have a "Can Do" attitude to the job. Must be confident and friendly natured. Keeping the Café spotlessly clean is a must. Job progression is available. Training will be given with addition to an on line training programme also. Our shifts start at 7.30am - with afternoon shifts finishing at 6.45pm. (Only Barista trained staff will start at 7.30am) If you are not committed to work weekends do not apply.
