About the Role
We are looking for a Newly Qualified Solicitor (NQ) to join our growing Litigation team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified legal professional to develop their career within a fast-paced, supportive, and highly regarded legal environment.

What You'll Be Doing
- Managing a varied caseload of litigation matters.
- Reviewing and approving legal documentation and case files in line with the Mazur ruling.
- Progressing matters efficiently while ensuring all litigation deadlines are met.
- Keeping clients informed through regular communication and case updates.
- Maintaining accurate and comprehensive records using internal case management systems.
- Ensuring compliance with firm policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
- Contributing to team meetings, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Supporting practice development and wider business growth activities.
- Keeping up to date with relevant legislation, regulations, and legal best practice.
- Achieving individual performance, fee income, and time-recording targets.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Qualified Solicitor (or due to qualify shortly).
- Good knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR).
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Confidence working in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable
- Experience of litigation matters relating to secured or unsecured lending.
- Knowledge of financial services regulation, including MCOB, CONC, DISP, SYSC and PRIN.
- Experience using case management systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
