Overview
Our client in Orpington is looking for a large format print finisher to join their team. The finishing department is a key section of their production facility ensuring that the customers campaigns and event products arrive finished, trimmed and able to be installed or used correctly. You will be responsible for finishing and collating printed or supplied products according to job bag and campaign specifications. You will be working as part of a finishing team that works across multiple material types, large and small format items, 3D structures, using a variety of standard finishing machinery.
You will work closely with, account and production teams to ensure all projects are delivered and all requirements and needs of the client are met and exceeded.
Duties
- Zund cutting tables – cutting, kiss cutting, routing, etc
- Laminating – Heated rollers and Rolls Rollers.
- Hand finishing – vinyl wrap mounting, weeding etc.
- Eyelets and hemming – Finishing of banners/textiles
- Various manual finishing operations – glueing, assembly, taping, etc…
- Following instruction surrounding campaign and event finishing requirements
- Report to Finishing Unit Manager
- Work as a team to achieve daily objectives and to a high standard
- Follow an on-line work schedule
- Follow the health & safety rules and procedures
- Communicate effectively and professionally with the rest of the team and departments

Shift
Monday to Friday.
- 8-hour working shifts March – Nov
- 6-hour shifts through Dec-Feb
In average it means 7.5-hour shifts across the year.
Early shift starts at 7:00; late shift at 10:00.
Staff shift on a fortnight basis between early and late shifts.
Salary
30k - 33k per year depending on experience.
Overtime (weekday or weekend) is paid with 1.5 coef.
