Job Summary
We are seeking an Apprentice Nursery Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care and education to young children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and supporting their development in a nurturing environment.
Duties
- Assist in creating a safe and stimulating environment for children
- Support the Nursery team in delivering engaging activities and educational programmes
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Help maintain cleanliness and organisation within the Nursery
- Assist with meal times, nappy changing, and other daily routines
- Observe and record children's progress and behaviour
Experience
- Previous experience working with children is not essential
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff
- Leadership qualities to take initiative and work well within a team
- A proactive approach to drive the learning and development of young children
- Knowledge of Early Childhood Education or Childcare is advantageous
- Proficiency in English language
