We are entering an exciting new phase of growth and development and are looking for an ambitious and passionate Registered Manager to join our team and lead our CQC England regulated service. We are looking for someone with established experience in a Registered Manager role. About the Role
As Registered Manager, you will hold regulatory responsibility with the Care Quality Commission and lead the day-to-day operations of our regulated services across the South and Southwest of England. You will provide strong, visible leadership, making decisions that positively impact service quality, compliance and outcomes for the people we support. Key responsibilities will include leading team meetings, carrying out supervisions, visiting services to complete spot checks, and undertaking quality audits to ensure high standards are consistently maintained. Due to the regional nature of the role, occasional travel will be required and this may include overnight stays.
You will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, families, and other professionals involved in supporting our Loved Ones, ensuring their voices are heard and their goals remain at the centre of everything we do.
You will be outcomes-focused, helping people achieve meaningful goals and improved quality of life through truly person-centred support.
What You'll Do
Core Responsibilities
As a Registered Manager, you will:
- Put the needs of our Loved Ones first, ensuring the care they receive is tailored to their individual needs.
- Be an ambassador for the company culture and an active role model for our core values, embedding them into daily operations and team behaviours.
- Lead and inspire a team that shares our values and commitment to outstanding care.
- Ensure our services comply with all legal, regulatory, and CQC requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement through effective quality assurance, audits, and service-led data analysis.
- Complete monthly and quarterly audits, including medication, safeguarding, and quality monitoring.
- Conduct regular service reviews to ensure high standards of care are consistently maintained.
- Ensure care plans are reviewed and updated to reflect changing needs and aspirations.
- Conduct supervisions, appraisals, and performance reviews, supporting staff development and career progression.
- Support new team members through induction and probation, helping them succeed in their roles.
- Take the lead on new referrals, carrying out assessments and developing tailored support plans.
- Manage annual leave and staffing arrangements in partnership with the Care Co-ordinator to maintain safe and effective service delivery.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with Loved Ones, families, professionals, commissioners, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota.
- Contribute to the continued growth, development, and success of Kind Tailored Care by identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Lead on the preparation and completion of supporting documentation for tender submissions, ensuring accuracy, compliance and alignment with service requirements

You will have:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care
- Strong leadership skills with experience of managing people and services effectively.
- Sound knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, medication governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a genuine commitment to person-centred care.
- The ability to work flexibly and travel as required to meet the needs of the business.

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
