We are looking for an experienced HGV Shift Supervisor/ HGV Foreman / HGV Workshop Supervisor to play a positive role within Aquila; to ensure our workshop efficiency levels and, our ongoing profitability are maximised across the service department.
Operating a busy workshop effectively requires a professional and proactive approach, with the ability to analyse and act quickly to ensure customer satisfaction is maintained – in a practical and cost-effective manner. Reporting to the Workshop Controller, candidates must be able to manage and communicate effectively across all levels with a strong work ethic.
Candidates will have the technical knowledge and skills to be able to service and repair customer’s vehicles and be able to recognise any faults which you can diagnose accurately. Previous experience in managing a team is essential.
Candidates should hold suitable trade qualifications and should be willing to engage in our extensive manufacturers and vocational training programmes.
An HGV licence and petroleum experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
Aquila is a company keen on focusing on your long term development within our organisation. The working hours are 05:30 to 18:00 on a rolling 4 on 4 off to meet our customer requirements therefore, please ensure you can commit to this shift before applying.
