The Company
We are a well-established national commercial catering and refrigeration service and maintenance provider with over 30 years of industry experience. We support a wide range of clients including facilities management companies, restaurant chains, hotels, pubs, leisure venues and commercial businesses across the UK.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Engineer to join our London team.
The Role
As a Commercial Refrigeration Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out service, maintenance, fault finding and repairs on a wide range of commercial refrigeration equipment at customer sites.
Your duties will include:
- Service, maintenance and reactive repair of commercial refrigeration equipment
- Diagnosing and repairing faults efficiently to minimise downtime
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Working on:
- Cold Rooms
- Bottle Coolers
- Under Counter Fridges & Freezers
- Display Cabinets
- Blast Chillers
- Completing service reports and paperwork accurately
- Providing excellent customer service and technical support on-site
- Building strong relationships with customers while representing the business professionally
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations
Requirements
We are looking for engineers who have:
- FGAS Category 1 Certification
- Experience working on commercial refrigeration equipment
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience carrying out service and maintenance work
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
