Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team in. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in both commercial and residential settings. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Perform welding and mechanical tasks related to plumbing projects.
- Conduct inspections to identify issues with existing plumbing infrastructure.
- Measure and cut materials precisely using basic maths skills.
- Assist with carpentry tasks as needed for custom fittings or modifications.
- Lift heavy materials safely during installation or repair work.
- Operate commercial vehicles for transportation of tools and materials to various sites.
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently during all operations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in plumbing installation and maintenance.
- Proficiency with welding, hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques.
- Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to plumbing systems.
- Ability to perform basic maths calculations accurately for measurements and estimations.
- Experience with carpentry or related trades is advantageous.
- Capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks throughout the working day.
- Valid driving licence suitable for commercial driving duties.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards within the construction or maintenance sectors.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
