Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial premises such as offices, retail stores, warehouses, and other business facilities
- Conduct domestic cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, bathroom sanitation, and kitchen cleaning
- Use commercial cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively to achieve optimal results
- Follow detailed cleaning schedules and checklists to ensure all areas are maintained to high standards
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and cleaning agents as needed
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during cleaning procedures
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to supervisors
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning techniques and equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and steam cleaners is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and reliability are essential for success in this role
