A well-established and growing protection brokerage is hiring a Trainee Protection Adviser at Alderley Park. Location requirement – please read this first
This role is fully office-based at Alderley Park, five days a week. There is no hybrid or remote option. We've had a number of applicants who live too far away to attend reliably, so please be honest with yourself before applying:
- You must live within a 30-minute drive of Alderley Park maximum (each way, in normal traffic).
- Please don't apply if you can't reliably commute within 30 minutes, every weekday.
- Do check your route and typical travel time before applying.

The role
- Learn the fundamentals of protection advice
- Work alongside experienced advisers and support teams
- Speak with clients and recommend suitable solutions
- Progress towards a fully qualified Protection Adviser role
The training (be prepared)
The first 2–3 months are an intensive training and qualification period. You'll get structured training and support, but you'll need to study, pass your qualifications, and apply what you learn quickly. It rewards people who put the work in.
The reality
This is a sales role, and sales is challenging. You'll face rejection, targets and pressure. Those who thrive are resilient, motivated and eager to learn. The OTE (£45,000–£55,000) is real, and it goes to those who stay the course.
