About the Role
ParcFarm Holiday Park is seeking a hardworking, practical and self-motivated Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where no two days are the same. We are looking for someone with strong carpentry skills, excellent problem-solving abilities and the initiative to identify and resolve maintenance issues quickly and effectively with minimal supervision.
The successful candidate will take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship, be able to work efficiently under pressure, and consistently maintain the high standards expected across our holiday park, caravan sales stock and hire fleet.
Experience working within a holiday park, caravan park, leisure park or similar environment would be highly advantageous, as would previous experience maintaining holiday caravans, lodges or hire fleet accommodation.
Applicants with their own tools suitable for carrying out carpentry, joinery and general maintenance duties would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out snagging, repairs and general maintenance on holiday accommodation and caravan sales stock.
- Undertake a wide variety of carpentry and joinery work, including repairs, installations and improvements.
- Complete basic plumbing and general maintenance tasks as required.
- Assist with the construction, installation, repair and maintenance of caravan decking and other timber structures.
- Respond promptly and effectively to maintenance issues reported by Reception and park management.
- Diagnose faults, identify practical solutions and carry out repairs efficiently.
- Maintain public facilities, including the swimming pool, clubhouse and amenity buildings.
- Assist with general grounds maintenance and site upkeep to ensure the park remains safe, clean and well-presented at all times.
- Prioritise workloads effectively and manage multiple tasks within a busy holiday park environment.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
Essential Skills & Attributes
- Strong carpentry and joinery skills with proven practical experience.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
- Ability to work at pace whilst maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
- Self-motivated, reliable and capable of working independently.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
- Practical, hands-on approach with a positive attitude and willingness to undertake a variety of tasks.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards throughout the park.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Sound understanding of Health & Safety requirements within a maintenance environment.
