Job Description:
· Location: Worthing & Surrounding Areas
· Pay: £14–£15 per hour. With time and a half on Bank Holidays plus double time on Christmas and Boxing Day
· Paid Training including Care Certificate
· Drivers preferred: Mileage paid between 35p to 45p per mile + Paid Travel Allowance

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Care Giver, you’ll be supporting older adults and people with health needs across Worthing and the surrounding area in their homes. You’ll help them stay independent, comfortable, and connected — whether that’s at home, out and about, or in a supported living environment.
Your day-to-day could include:
- Assisting with personal care, such as washing, dressing, toileting, and getting ready for the day — always with dignity and respect.
- Preparing nutritious meals and snacks tailored to their likes, needs, and any special diets.
- Providing companionship and a listening ear, especially for those living alone.
- Helping with light housekeeping — a quick tidy-up or some laundry can go a long way.
- Driving to appointments or outings (if you drive — many clients enjoy a trip to the shops or the sea!).
- Supporting families during more sensitive times, including hospice and end-of-life care.
- Keeping simple notes on care and passing on anything we need to know.
What You’ll Need
- A driving licence and access to a car
- Proof of your right to live and work in the UK
- Experience is not essential for this position, as we will give you full training and support every step of the way.
- A naturally caring, patient, and positive attitude.
- Good communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships.
- Flexibility for alternate weekends
