Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate Bartender to join our Front of House team at 31K. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, and willing to work hard to deliver premium-quality cocktails, served to the highest standard possible in our fast-paced bar.
The role requires excellent teamwork, communication and active problem solving to maintain our high standards and the strong reputation we have earned ourselves in the Nottingham bar scene.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve drinks in accordance with established specifications and standards.
- Ensure all bar areas are clean, organised, and comply with food safety regulations.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure the bar is suitably prepared for daytime and evening service.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and utensils, ensuring they are properly sanitised after use.
- Assist new staff in drink preparation techniques and appropriate safety practices.
- Participate in daily operations including setting up work stations and cleaning down at the end of shifts.
Requirements
- Be eager to learn from everyone.
- Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits and cocktails.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- An interest in developing new drinks in line with industry trends in desirable.
- Proven experience as a bartender in a similar working environment is desirable.
Basic pay is £12.71/hr + tips (~50p/hr). Interviews will commence immediately for a start date as soon as possible.
