Join Our Team as a Senior Project Manager at Beyond Sports!
Are you passionate about leading multi-disciplinary teams, managing complex digital development projects, and building world-class fan experiences?
At Beyond Sports, we don’t just visualize sports, we reinvent how fans experience them. Together with partners like NFL, NHL, FIFA, and Disney, we push the boundaries of real-time sports data, 3D graphics, and AI-driven storytelling across web and native mobile platforms.
If you're an experienced, impassioned Senior Digital Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to balance scope, time, and budget while delivering cutting-edge software solutions, this is the perfect next step in your career.
As a Senior Project Manager, you'll play a central role in driving the end-to-end delivery of high-impact digital products for some of the biggest names in world sport.
Working at the heart of our delivery teams, you'll collaborate daily with internal design and engineering squads, external client stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
One day you might be facilitating agile ceremonies, managing project risks, and refining a prioritised product backlog. The next, you could be navigating complex backend integrations, optimising delivery processes within your squad, or mentoring junior project managers to help elevate delivery standards across the team.
You'll serve as the bridge between client vision and technical execution, leveraging an intuitive appreciation of what sports fans want to help discover, define, and deliver seamless digital experiences worldwide.
At Beyond Sports, we move fast, collaborate closely, and build things that haven't existed before.
You'll fit right in if you:
Bring a solution-oriented mindset, focusing on solving challenges rather than dwelling on problems
Excel at managing project constraints across scope, effort, time, and budget
Proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate both short-term delivery risks and long-term project issues
Drive continuous improvement by challenging and optimizing ways of working within development squads
Lead multi-disciplinary teams with empathy, clarity, and strong people management skills
Inspire trust and build strong, collaborative relationships with senior client stakeholders
Champion agile delivery standards while guiding, supporting, and mentoring fellow project managers
You don't need to tick every box, but we're generally looking for:
Project Scale: Proven experience running digital development projects with budgets of £500k+
End-to-End Delivery: Proven track record of taking complex digital software applications from initial requirements gathering to successful release
Backend Integrations: Hands-on experience managing projects with complex backend dependencies (e.g., SSO, CRM, live data feeds, or content migrations)
Team Leadership: Highly proficient in people management, with demonstrable experience leading development squads of 7+ people
Agile Expertise: Deep knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, with a history of positively influencing delivery processes to maximize output
Scope & Financial Acumen: Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of the interplay between scope, effort, and budget throughout a project's lifecycle
Backlog Management: Expertise in gathering client requirements and converting them into actionable, prioritized backlogs
Nice to Have (But Not Required)
Intuitive understanding of sports technology, digital media, or what drives fan engagement in sports
Strong account management capabilities, with experience managing both day-to-day operations and executive-level client relationships
Fast-moving, creative, and innovative — that's our world.
Global Impact: Lead projects that power digital touchpoints for millions of global sports fans
High Ownership: Shape core delivery processes and drive end-to-end delivery strategy for high-profile client accounts
Delivery Variety: Work across responsive web platforms, native mobile apps, and real-time sports tech
Growth & Mentorship: Influence company-wide project management standards while mentoring growing talent
Real Collaboration: Partner closely with creative, product, engineering, and commercial leaders
And we make sure it’s a great place to work:
25 days of paid leave per year
Pension program
Lunch included
Gym card
Fresh fruit, great coffee, and Friday drinks
Bi-monthly team outings
Office games like FIFA, chess, and ping-pong
