Job Summary
We are currently looking for a qualified and accredited CBT Therapist to join our team on a part-time basis. This role involves working with adult clients who have experienced psychological trauma, often related to accidents or personal injury cases.
Responsibilities
- Deliver CBT therapy to clients referred through the medico-legal process.
- Conduct initial assessments to understand clients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
Experience
- Accredited CBT practitioner (BABCP or equivalent)
- Registration with a professional body (HCPC, BACP, BABCP, UKCP).
- Strong report writing and communication skills.
- Experience with PTSD, complex trauma and personal injury cases.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Understanding of the medico-legal context (preferred, but not essential).
