Working Hours: Shifts are offered between 7:00 am and 11:00 pm, Monday to Sunday.
- Most shifts will fall between 7:00 am – 3:00 pm or 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm, with greater need for coverage in the 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm period.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team at The Beeches Hotel on a casual basis. This role involves delivering exceptional customer service in our bar and restaurant, ensuring guests enjoy a high-quality experience. You will help maintain guest satisfaction and loyalty while supporting revenue growth in our food and beverage areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Breakfast Service: Assemble and maintain the breakfast buffet, ensuring it remains well-stocked, and clear tables promptly after service.
- Customer Interaction: Respond to guest queries and resolve complaints professionally, prioritising guest satisfaction.
- Cleaning Duties: Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors after each meal service; sanitise tables and countertops, resetting them for the next service.
- Food & Beverage Service: Serve meals, snacks, beverages, and room service orders promptly and efficiently, following The Beeches’ standards for presentation and quality.
- Alcohol Service: Comply with all regulations regarding the responsible service of alcohol.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams regarding bookings and special requests.
- Event Support: Set up refreshments and buffets for events according to function sheets.
- Hotel Information: Assist guests with details about hotel facilities and local attractions.
- Transactions: Process guest bills and bar orders accurately, handling payments securely.
- Stock Management: Maintain correct stock levels in all food and beverage areas.
- Safety Compliance: Follow hotel fire procedures and attend mandatory safety training every six months.

Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
