Duties & Responsibilities:
- Managing client relationships and acting as the main point of contact for clients, always ensuring excellent communication and service levels.
- Managing accounts, VAT and corporate tax compliance work efficiently within the team and ensuring clients’ tax affairs are filed in a timely manner and in accordance with statutory requirements.
- Leading assignments efficiently and within budgets, managing the clients’ expectations on costs, billing and timelines, ensuring work is carried out in accordance with the firm’s procedures.
- Planning and delegating work appropriately, supervising and reviewing work carried out by juniors and ensuring departmental KPIs are met and continuously improved.
- Managing junior staff, including their training, development, and appraisals.
- Being involved in business development, attending client meetings, business events, delivering seminars and webinars.
Qualifications & skills
· Minimum 6+ years experience in a practice setting and a client facing role
· ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with significant PQ experience
· CTA qualified (beneficial)
· German speaking preferred
· Proven experience in managing client portfolio
· Able to independently prepare year end accounts and tax returns
· Experience working in an international environment
