Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team working at Pyraguard on Millfied Lane Haydock working Wednesday to Friday 6am to 11 am . The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality cleaning services in a professional environment. Prior experience in janitorial work or commercial cleaning is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. The successful applicant will contribute to creating a safe, clean, and welcoming space for clients and staff alike.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, washrooms, and common areas, using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitised and maintained to health and safety standards.
- Empty bins, dispose of waste responsibly, and replenish supplies such as toilet paper and hand soap where necessary.
- Maintain a high standard of organisation within the work area to promote efficiency and safety.
- Follow designated cleaning schedules and report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly.
- Use environmentally friendly cleaning products where possible to support sustainability initiatives.
Skills
- Experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively within allocated timeframes.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a professional standard of cleanliness at all times.
