Job Summary
We need a caring and compassionate Dental Nurse / trainee to join our friendly team at Fiaclóir Dental Care (formerly McGale Dental Surgery). This is a two surgery, independently run practice providing a mix of NHS and private dentistry. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, managing their surgery, assisting the dental team, and ensuring the smooth operation of the practice.
Location: Belfast, Falls Road directly off the Westlink and on the Glider route for an easy commute. Situated next to a coffee shop, park/green space and shopping centre.
Pay: £12.71 - £15 / hour depending on experience
Hours: Thursdays 9:15am - 6 pm with a 30 min lunch between 1:30pm and 2pm with the option to do additional shifts to provide cover.
Start date: June 2026
Our ideal candidate will:
- Be a qualified and registered Dental Nurse or aspire to qualify.
- Have basic IT skills and experience with computerised dental records and charting systems. Past experience with R4 Carestream would be perfect but not essential.
- Enjoy working with children and nervous patients, helping them feel at ease in the dental chair.
- Be enthusiastic, reliable, and a good communicator.
- Proficient in English (and/or Irish)
- Strong organisational skills
