Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in various settings, particularly within the hospitality and hotel sectors. Duties
- Perform cleaning duties in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure a pristine environment.
- Dust, vacuum, and mop floors; clean windows and mirrors; and sanitise bathrooms and kitchens.
- Change bed linens and towels, ensuring all items are fresh and well-presented.
- Restock cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and health guidelines to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a cleaning role, preferably within the hospitality or hotel industry, is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and colleagues.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
