Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across commercial premises. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail to contribute to a hygienic and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Carry out daily cleaning duties across all areas of the store, including sales floors, stockrooms, offices, staff facilities, and welfare areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors using appropriate cleaning equipment and techniques.
- Dust, clean, and sanitise fixtures, display units, and high-touch contact points.
- Clean and maintain toilets, kitchens,and other communal areas
- Empty waste bins and ensure the safe disposal of rubbish in accordance with company procedures.
- Replenish consumables and other hygiene products as required.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed in compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company standards.
- Report any maintenance issues, damage, defects, or health and safety concerns to management promptly.
- Adhere to site-specific security, confidentiality, and operational procedures at all times.
- Use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and machinery safely and in accordance with COSHH regulations with training provided.
- Assist with periodic deep cleaning and additional cleaning tasks as required.
- Maintain a professional and courteous manner while working in a customer-facing environment.
- Work efficiently and independently to ensure the premises remain clean, safe, and presentable at all times.

Friday - Wednesday
Monday - Wednesday: 07:00 - 10:00
Friday - Saturday: 07:00 - 10:00
Sunday: 09:00 - 12:00
Pay: £13.70 per hour
Work Location: In person
