Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Team Leader to join our team in providing essential care and support to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for helping others and ensuring the well-being of those under their care.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- Create and implement care plans tailored to individual needs. Compile and review risk assessments.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organised living environment
- Transport clients to appointments or outings as required
Experience
The successful candidate should ideally possess the following skills:
- Experience in caring for seniors or individuals requiring special assistance
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures related to caregiving
- Familiarity with mental health care principles and practices
- Ability to manage cases effectively and coordinate care services
- Proficiency in creating and implementing care plans
