The Forbury Group of Nurseries is a small chain of children's day nurseries dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for children from 3 months to 5 years old.
Summary
We are seeking a Maintenance Operative to join our team, the role will be across all 5 of our settings. This role is vital in ensuring our nursery remains a safe and well-maintained environment for both children and staff.
Work pattern- 8am-3pm/4pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure the nursery's facilities are safe and functional.
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues promptly.
- Conduct inspections of equipment and infrastructure.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with staff to address any safety concerns.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist with minor renovations or upgrades as needed.
- Assist with legionnaires recording.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in electrical, mechanical, or general maintenance roles.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills in English.

Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour
