Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Commercial Operations & Process Analysis Specialist to join our team. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of commercial processes using advanced data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize databases utilizing SQL (Structured Query Language), Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and database design principles to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and implement solutions aligned with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Design and automate reports, dashboards, and workflows using VBA, R, Python, Bash (Unix shell), and other scripting languages to enhance data accessibility and operational transparency.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables through effective project management practices, ensuring timely execution of process improvement initiatives.
- Utilize Visio for process mapping and workflow documentation to visualize current states and design optimized future processes.
- Support ongoing system integrations and upgrades by coordinating with IT teams to ensure seamless implementation of new tools or features.
- Provide training and support to end-users on data analysis tools, reporting platforms, and process changes to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Experience
- Proven experience in business analysis or process analysis within a commercial or operational environment.
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI for creating insightful dashboards.
- Extensive knowledge of SQL programming along with experience working with Oracle databases or Microsoft SQL Server environments.
- Hands-on experience with scripting languages including R, Python, VBA, or Bash for automation purposes.
- Familiarity with SDLC methodologies for managing software development projects from inception through deployment.
- Demonstrated ability in database design, data analysis skills, and analysis techniques to interpret complex datasets effectively.
- Experience in project management practices to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Skilled in process mapping using Visio or similar tools to document workflows clearly and accurately.
