This is an ideal role for an experienced male support worker, who wants to get back to working in a small team environment and progress their career, but also for someone new to care who feels they would enjoy the role.
The majority of our work consist of providing clients with crucial personal care, meal preparation, domestic tasks, assisting with shopping, and accompanying clients on trips out.
We are currently looking for a male support worker to support a specific client group who need a caring person that will support them with social and recreational time building up a relationship of trust, these individuals have dementia and or brain injury following a stroke experience for this role would be desirable and further specific training will be provided.
The hours of this service are fixed block hour session during the afternoons and support workers would need to be available between 12pm and 6pm a mixture of days over the 7 day week.
We also have full and part time vacancies with flexible working patterns which include evenings, weekends and night Sleeps for all support workers.
