JD’s Caribbean Food is looking for a passionate and reliable Chef to join our growing Caribbean food business.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fresh and ambitious food brand delivering authentic Caribbean flavours across Telford. We are looking for someone who can confidently run a kitchen service, prepare high quality food, work well under pressure and maintain consistency throughout busy periods.
The role will involve preparing and cooking Caribbean dishes including curry goat, jerk chicken, fried chicken, oxtail and wings and much more for delivery service operations on Friday starting at 12pm for prep work
What we are looking for:
- Previous kitchen or chef experience
- Reliable and hard working
- Able to manage kitchen service independently
- Passion for Caribbean food and flavours
- Good time management and organisation
- Calm under pressure during busy periods
Duties:
- Part-time evening work
- Thursday & Friday shifts
- Telford based
- Immediate start available
- Potential for more hours as the business grows
- Experience with Caribbean cuisine preferred but not essential
