Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Treatment Coordinator/Receptionist with a valid General Dental Council (GDC) registration number to join our friendly dental practice in Bayswater/Notting Hill gate area. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing appointments, coordinating treatment plans, and ensuring a smooth patient experience from start to finish. Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a positive first impression
- Manage patient appointments efficiently, balancing scheduling needs and patient preferences
- Coordinate treatment plans between patients and dental practitioners, ensuring clear communication and understanding
- Maintain accurate patient records and update details in the practice management system
- Handle incoming calls, inquiries, and correspondence promptly and courteously
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, billing, and processing payments
- Support the clinical team by preparing treatment rooms and ensuring all necessary materials are ready for procedures
- Booking and coordinating appointments, particularly for complex or multi-stage treatments.
- Following up with patients regarding proposed or outstanding treatment and conversions.
- Answering patient questions and addressing concerns in a professional and reassuring manner.
- Liaising with dentists, nurses, reception staff, laboratories, specialists, and other members of the dental team.

Skills
- Proven office experience with strong organizational skills
- Previous administrative experience in a healthcare or dental setting is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when managing patient information
- Proficiency in using office software and practice management systems
- Must hold a valid GDC registration number to fulfill regulatory requirements
Must demonstrate strong sales and communication skills, with the ability to confidently present treatment options, explain their value, handle patient concerns, and support treatment uptake while maintaining an ethical, patient-centred approach.

Pay: From £17.00 per hour
