Experienced Butcher – Night Shift
We are currently recruiting an experienced Butcher to join our night shift team.
Shift Pattern
Sunday to Friday
(5 or 6 nights per week available)
- Sunday: 8:00pm – 5:00am
- Monday to Wednesday: 9:00pm – 5:00am
- Thursday to Friday: 8:00pm – 5:00am
Paid breaks included:
- 2 x 30-minute paid breaks per shift
Pay
£14.00 – £17.00 per hour
(rate includes night shift bonus and is dependent on experience)

About the Role
The successful candidate will have previous butchery experience, strong knife skills, and excellent meat product knowledge.
Duties include:
- Preparing and cutting meat to specification
- Portion control
- Working to customer orders
- Maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene
- General butchery and production duties as required
A good understanding of the Meat Buyers Guide is desirable.
Requirements
- Previous experience in butchery
- Confident knife and cutting skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good attention to detail and food hygiene standards
