We are seeking an experienced and diligent Site Manager with a specialised focus on External Wall Insulation (EWI) systems, ensuring projects are delivered in strict compliance with PAS 2030:2023 standards. This pivotal role will be responsible for leading site operations, coordinating teams, and ensuring the highest levels of quality, safety, and environmental performance on EWI retrofit projects.
Other experience in other insulation measures or renewables would be beneficial.
Key Responsibilities Project & Site Management
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of EWI installation sites.
- Ensure that all works are completed in accordance with PAS 2030:2023 standards, BS 5250, and relevant Building Regulations.
- Manage project timelines, ensuring milestones and deadlines are achieved.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and in-house teams effectively.
- Conduct daily site inspections, quality checks, and progress reporting.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Implement and enforce PAS 2030 compliant processes and documentation.
- Ensure installation standards are verified through pre-installation, mid-installation, and post-installation inspections.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of materials, methods, and workforce qualifications, ensuring these meet PAS 2030 requirements.
- Collaborate with Retrofit Coordinators, Designers, and Assessors to ensure correct sequencing of activities and installation conformity.
- Manage and submit handover documentation, including guarantees, system certifications, and photographic evidence of compliance.
Health, Safety & Environmental
- Lead on-site Health & Safety (H&S) management, including inductions, toolbox talks, and adherence to RAMS.
- Monitor and enforce safe working practices, ensuring CDM 2015 compliance.
- Ensure waste management, dust control, and environmental controls are in place.
- Report and manage incidents, near misses, and non-conformities.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary site contact for clients, residents, and local authorities.
- Provide regular progress updates to project managers and stakeholders.
- Handle customer concerns on-site in a professional and empathetic manner, ensuring resident liaison processes are followed.
